Speakers Talk Drug Coupons at AMCP

Solid Benefit Guidance’s Josh Golden and Magellan Rx Management’s Manual Jayabalan recently discussed drug coupons during the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy’s (AMCP) meeting in San Diego.

Golden and Jayabalan touched on what the copay cards mean for various stakeholders, according to an AMCP report, including patients who can see reduced out-of-pocket costs.

Such direct-to-consumer funding methods have also been shown to boost patients’ treatment adherence, per the report.
