Gottlieb Joins Pfizer Board After Exiting Government

Former Food and Drug Administration commissioner Scott Gottlieb this week was appointed to Pfizer’s board of directors, two months after exiting his government post, pharmaphorum reports.

According to the report, Gottlieb was appointed to Pfizer’s Regulatory and Compliance Committee and the Science and Technology Committee.

“I’m honored to be joining the board of directors of #Pfizer and working together with more than 90,000 Pfizer colleagues to promote medical innovation, advance patient care, and secure access to better healthcare outcomes for families around the world,” Gottlieb said in a tweet June 27.
